We are an Argentine auditing and consulting firm that was founded in 1970 by Mr. Héctor Raúl Bertora (1922-1994), a professional and academic whose important track record gave him the rank of emeritus professor of the School of Economics of Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Our history has been marked by the driving force of innovation and excellence with which our firm was started up by its founder.

HÉCTOR RAÚL BERTORA

Partner who founded the Firm. He retired in 1990, but continued acting as consulting partner until his death on October 12, 1994. Due to the important work of Mr. Héctor Bertora and the recognition still given by the business community and, particularly, our clients, some outstanding data of his track record are included below.

  • CPA, Graduate in Business Administration, Graduate in Economics and Doctor’s Degree in Economics. He also attended financial administration specialization courses at the Stanford University, California, USA.
  • Teacher at the following universities: UBA (a classroom at the School of Economics currently bears his name), Universidad de La Plata, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Universidad de Belgrano, Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.
  • Emeritus professor of the School of Economics – Universidad de Buenos Aires.
  • Vice-dean of the School of Economics – Universidad de Buenos Aires.
  • Founder of the Accounting Research Institute of the School of Economics – Universidad de Buenos Aires.
  • Regular counselor of the Professional Council in Economic Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires (a room at this institution currently bears his name).
  • Member of the Association of Graduates, of the BCBA (Buenos Aires stock exchange), of the American Accounting Association.
  • Chairman of the Standing Committee of University Accounting Seminars.
He was a true innovator in certain matters of professional interest. He published books, as well as countless technical articles in newspapers and specialized magazines. He also lectured a large number of courses and conferences at academic institutions, research institutes and universities in Argentina, other Latin America countries and the USA. This brief description shows his outstanding work as professional, teacher and researcher. But above all he was an excellent human being. His vast professional and teaching track record has always been significantly recognized both by the business community and academic environments in general, and our clients in particular.

ERP software: an integrated business solution

PLATAFORMA is a fully integrated solution developed by the firm Intec Software, which differentiates for the power to analyze accounting and financial information. Additionally, Intec Software's work scheme allows extending the software functionality according to the client's specific requirements. Such functionality remains in the standard application base and is subject to the ongoing technological progress of the software fostered by this company. It includes in the core of the application itself e-mail functions and supports access via browser (Internet) for queries on the proprietary database.

During those years, they have rendered organization and system consulting services, gaining vast experience and attaining clients' loyalty and great respect. Subsequently, they found the need to focus the work scheme on the software engineering field, due to new global rules and the required technological progress with cycles increasingly shorter that demanded specific dedication.
